Calling this man a true Republican is like calling ISIS a true Islamic group. Don't do it.
Now that that is cleared out of the water, I'd like to give you a brief introduction to the wonderful system that the Republican party supports.
As most know, the two main political parties are Democratic and Republican. The Republican party was made just before the Civil War, and was brought into existence by their main belief being against slavery. They were established as a recognized political party when their candidate, known as Abraham Lincoln, came into office in 1860. As stated before, their strong views against slavery is what made them a big force in the American politics. Their symbol is an Elephant.
The Democratic party however can be traced all the way back to Thomas Jefferson (as _____ said), and were known for their belief of "Letting the people rule". Although on the outside it may seem like it is a system in which freedom is allowed, it has many flaws which are spotted in our religion, Islam. Their beliefs are too free for it to be an acceptable political party in Islam's eyes. [Insert Quote here] Islam promotes having a system in place and being content and not excessive. The Republican Party brings a system in which the people are given a freedom, as well as a system.
Additionally, some core beliefs of Islam are enforced in the Republican views. One of the few similarities between these two groups is their social views. Abortion is one of them. Islam is against Abortion as it is the ending of a life, even if the person has not been born yet. The Republican Party.
