Each province give +1 gold income
Expanding costs 5g for 1 province. If you want to expand overseas provinces you have to reach level 2 on National Technology and have a dock.

TECHNOLOGIES:

You can upgrade technologies for 10g (+10g for each level). It means that upgrading national technology to 2 will cost 30g (10g for 1st and 20g for 2nd)
Every 2nd level gives a bonus.

Nations that started with overseas provinces will start with 1 free dock and 1 free transport ship. But expanding non-coastal provinces will cost them 10g per province.

NATIONAL:
Level 2 - "We Rule!" - +50% of your income, you can now expand overseas provinces.
Level 4 - "The True Faith!" - Allows you to create religion; other players will be able to join your religion. Each player with religion get +2 gold income, Creator of a religion gets 2 bonus gold for each player that join his religion. You are now able to build temples.
Level 6 - "Work Harder!" - +20% bonus gold from provinces, farming settlemens and fishing shacks.

ECONOMICAL:
Level 2 - Trade - Allows you to propose trade to adjancent players in order to receive 10 gold per turn. You can trade with maximum of 3 players. Every player gives you 10 gold per turn.
Level 4 - Efficient Taxing - You can force to tax your people to gain an extra 5g per turn from all your provinces, and reduce your stability (-1 each 2 turns. This will only reduce your stability for 3 times.)
Level 6 - Investment - -25% technology cost
Level 8 - Privateering - You can steal 50% of another players trade by using your ships unless they destroy your pirates with their fleet.
Level 10 - Allows you to select a primary export good for your country. You will get a national desicion when you reach this level. It gives you bonus income.

MILITARY:
Level 2 - Unlocks Archers, Spearmen and Catapults
Level 4 - Unlocks Crossbowmen and Swordsmen
Level 6 - Unlocks Light Cavalry, Trebuchets and Ballistas
Level 8 - Unlocks Galleys and Heavy Cavalry
Level 9 - Unlocks Caravels, Pikemen and Arbalesters
Level 10 - Unlocks Musketeers, Carracks, Cannons and Mortars

BUILDINGS:
You can have only one building built in each province.
Farm 5G- +2g income
Fishing shack 7G- +3g income (can be built only on coast)
City 10G - +500 population when built, +200 population each turn. Each city will give you +1 income for every 1k population. (exp. if your city has 2000 population you will get +2 income)
Docks 8G - Allows you for overseas trade and build transport ships.
Shipyard 50G - Allows you to create build war ships
Workshop 50G - Allows you to create siege weapons
Temple 5G - +2 gold income, can be built only in cities (1 temple per 1 city)
