Freshman/Sophomores: the selection of at least one scholarship to apply for, but if I were you I would apply to as many as I could. If you want your college to be paid for, you have to fight for the money or someone else will.
Freshman/Sophomores: You should be in the process of drafting a short essay about you. This essay, if done properly can be used for all future scholarships that ask for a personal narrative essay.
Freshman/Sophomores (Juniors and Seniors are welcome to join in): The FSHS group said they wanted to do community service project in Lawrence, and should be actively looking for opportunities to complete in 2016.
Juniors/Seniors: If you have not begun your scholarship search, you will have no one but yourself to blame for not having free money. Thirty minutes in total for the school week and an hour on the weekend should be a goal for the amount of time spent on scholarship searches.
Juniors: You should be narrowing your prospective list of schools you may want to attend (3-6)
Seniors: You should have applied to the institutions of your choice by now, and hopefully you have heard back from one or all of them. Now it is time to decide the location you will make lasting lifetime memories at!
