Deku costume for My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia reminds us that a superhero's costume is an important part of who they are. Every costume, whether it's the hero’s main look or their outfit to protect other people, is designed keeping in mind the character’s unique strengths, and weaknesses.

The My Hero Academia Pro Heros' costumes change as their abilities and quirks develop. Initially, heroes' costumes serve as simple shields to protect them, but their abilities and skills grow over time.

Izuku midoriya, My Hero Academia's main protagonist, has had his costume undergo a number of changes during the course of the show. Each change is an important milestone in his quest for becoming the hero he's always dreamed of being.

Deku Halloween Costume is his first outfit. It was a full body jumpsuit in a light-green color with knee pads and elbow pads. He wore red shoes and a mask made to look like All Might. It had long ears, which were meant to be akin All Might's wig.

He upgraded his Gamma-version costume which gives him more support in his kicks, and also improves his arm braces. His red shoes were also fitted with iron soles, which boosted the power and speed of his kicks. Hatsume sent him Air Force gloves, which allowed him to concentrate the air pressure in a single area of impact.

Shoto Todoroki's uniform has been upgraded in a similar way. His monochrome blue school uniform has been slightly altered, and he is now wearing an armored helmet that covers his head. His hood is attached at his chest. He also wears a small tank around his back.

Bakugo katsuki’s tactical makeover is also subtle. He's stripped off the mask's rear headdress, and has blacked-out his other green bits. He also has grenade-shaped gauntlets that are based off of Mk 2 handgrenades.

In the end, all three characters get stealthy costumes to fight Humarise. They also receive plans on how to destroy Quirk's superpowers. The costumes are menacingly reminiscent to Costume Alpha. However, they are much more robust and abrasive.

Deku is wearing his second suit in this costume, Beta. This represents Deku’s desire to control the Quirk of One For All and protect the citizens. He wears a respirator and mask. However, he is also equipped with midgauntlets, which support his entire body.

Gran Torino's yellow scarred-cape gives him more power and an air of intimidation. Deku has been given a heavy burden by One For All to be the successor of Symbol Of Peace. This is reflected in his new costume. It also serves as a reminder that Deku is still in training and that the journey to becoming the hero he has always desired still lies ahead.
