On the seventh day of our work immersion, we had a different task assigned to us. Sir John announced that we would be assigned to a department that aligned with our college courses. It was an exciting opportunity for us to experience working in a specific field related to our interests. It gave us a glimpse of what we might be doing after graduation. I was assigned to the Technical Services Department, and I was thrilled to know that all the employees there were engineers.

When I arrived at the Technical Services Department, I was introduced to the engineers, and they immediately gave me tasks to do. The first task assigned to me was to read a book about electricity and the components of a power plant. It was a challenging task, but I was determined to learn and understand it. It was an opportunity for me to learn more about my course and how it applies to the real world.

When it was time for lunch, the Head Manager treated me to a meal. I was grateful for the opportunity to bond and talk with someone who has a higher position in the company. It was an excellent chance to learn from someone who has more experience and knowledge in the field. It also showed how the company values its employees, even the interns.

After I finished my tasks, I went back to the CCSM office with Shane. We finished our tasks there and proceeded to the Infirmary to help Whea file some documents. Ma'am Karen, the nurse, instructed us on how to do it properly. We made sure to organize and tidy up everything accordingly. It was a fulfilling experience to help others and contribute to the productivity of the department.
