Halo3.com got a little update after AdjuntantReflux went into sleep. The website now displays five servers that are "locked" leading us to believe that our motive is in some way to be related to getting these servers operational. However, this rabbit hole gets more engrossing. A paper boy posted a URL on the Bungie.net forums that he found when he was perusing this Sunday's Circuit City ad. The URL links to the Halo comic on Halo3.com which hides an IP address. This IP address is a page that shows the standard ARG countdown clock. When it hits zero, we expect more enjoyment. We aren't done. After an investigation of reverse whois and a new website was discovered that hosts the Society of the Ancients. This is the site where ARG players can sign up and gather evidence to solve the mysterious Halo puzzle. This progress could be discovered earlier than anticipated due to the Circuit City advertisement URL being released days ahead of schedule.
