The doctor then performed surgery on her without having a complete understanding of what was wrong with her which resulted in permanent kidney damage.

In a similar way, another case involved a man who suffered serious injuries when his knee was injured during an accident at work. Although he was able get a portion of his wages back, the serious injury to his body and career was severe. He also required surgery to repair his knee.
