Deku's costume was vastly improved, and it showed that he was finally ready to achieve the strength he had always desired. This costume was his first upgrade to his Quirk. He could now use a wider variety of attacks.
Deku became more powerful as a result. Deku's mother and other heroes were no longer needed to help him out of danger.
In the World Heroes' Mission movie of My Hero Academia, he also received a sleeker version. It made him look like the hero that he wants. The suit was a nod to his old jumpsuit, yet it provided more functionality.
Deku's belt pouches are another fantastic feature. The belt pouches are meant to hold a few guns, but also add a nice touch.
This costume has a hood that is a great feature. It makes it stand apart from other costumes. The costume is great for conventions or expos. It protects the wearer from cold, rain, wind, and snow.
