Minecraft is among the top sandbox games on the planet and Genshin Impact is possibly the most ambitious free-to-play RPGs going. Although they don't have much in common, Genshin Impact has helped both of them become more cohesive thanks to this video.
Now, the title of the video is "Who is the need for Grenades When You have... https://occities.org/ Pocket Creeper?" which made us assume this was a Minecraft mod, not one from Genshin one but we've all been tricked before. It shows off Alex screaming out a cute creeper that is dancing that is one of the cutest things we've seen. Then it explodes. It does get a hug afterward, which is nice.
H4xolotl posted the video on Reddit, and it turns out it's not just a small mod to transform Amber into Alex, but just every character and some other bits. While the general aesthetic of Genshin Impact is there, the creatures have been replaced with Minecraft mobs. The foxes and the zombies look oddly at home in lush greens of Teyvat However, even things like the boat have been changed.
It's a thrilling journey from beginning to end and we're left wondering whether there's ever a more thrilling Minecraft RPG. Although Minecraft Dungeons is a lot of fun and Minecraft Legends looks intriguing, it's not like sailing after throwing an adorable creeper or fighting off a bunch of zombies using fancy martial art moves and a spear.
Have you seen the IKEA version of Minecraft? This is another bizarre attempt at the uncanny. Enjoy!
