Why Doctor Strange Costumes is So Popular
Doctor Strange’s unique and captivating history spans from his rebirth, as the Sorcerer-Supreme to his imprisonment within the Darkhold. The character is dedicated and passionate, and devoted to both his work and the people he loves. Doctor Strange's outfit has evolved over the decades, but he still wears his classic red and black cloak as well as the Eye of Agamotto.

Steve Ditko was the creator of the classic Doctor Strange suit in early Silver Age comics. The Sorcerer Supreme became instantly recognizable for his simple, elegant costume. The robes and color scheme were simple, but striking. And the cloak which covered Strange's whole body made a strong statement about his hero status.

A second reason why this costume is popular is because it was created in order to reflect the character’s comic book roots. So drstrangecostume looks like a straight adaptation of the Marvel Universe. This costume has the same red and gold cloaks, as well a set of similar mystical objects such as the Eye of Agamotto.

This costume cost a great deal of time and effort. According to Alexandra Byrne (the British costume designer and Oscar winner who designed Marvel's new costumes), she "wanted give Dr. Strange the kind of attention that Avengers received."

Her work was crucial to establishing a consistent feeling of realism throughout the MCU. As such, she included elements from greater lore. She designed a hood, which was a protective hood, to protect the Ancient One from harm and Mordo in certain scenes. In addition, she incorporated the Eye of Agamotto into the costume.

Cloaks in a range of colors were made to match the film. The cloaks were carefully designed so they could be worn by Cumberbatch for stunt work while still being comfortable.

Also, the cloaks came in different sizes so all of them could be worn by both actors and stunt doubles. This meant that 18 cloaks were needed, each designed to suit a specific scene.

This was in addition to the fact that it had to be durable for the film action. It needed to be able handle the battle between heroes.

This led to the cloak being made in various different sizes and fabric types. The final product was a cloak which was durable, comfortable, and had a complex, detailed design.

A bonus was that the cloak helped Strange's opponents as well as saving the lives falling people. As a result, the cloak helped Strange achieve his goals as the Sorcerer.
