Gallery Dept is not a department gallery or store it's a hybrid clothing brand that is somewhere in the Venn Diagram of the overlap between streetwear label and denim shop. The brand is also a vintage shop. The label was created by fashion designer Josue Thomsen. The t-shirts and Hoodies are painted by hand on upcycled or worn out garments.


Gallery Dept is a self-taught designer and artist who created the brand. Gallery Dept Socks and shirts from this brand are decorated with the words "We do not accept pull requests from stylists" or "We don't give our products to influencers." Gallery Dept was started by a self-taught artist and designer. The t-shirts and sweatshirts are adorned with the words, "We do not accept pull requests from stylists" and "We don't send our products to people who are influential."



Josue Thomsen's second collaboration with Maison Lanvin brings together his artistic style, love of vintage style and a love of streetwear to reinvent Bruno Sialelli's famous pieces. Gallery Dept's interpretation of urban fashion is lively. In his Los Angeles workshop, Josue Thomas reinvented Lanvin's asymmetrical striped shirt and jeans with twists. He also painted the logo on sweatshirts and t-shirts.
