It is also the biggest organ in the human body, and is responsible for protecting other organs.

The FCC's Minimum Exposure Thresholds rely on various assumptions that aren't supported by scientific evidence. These include the erroneous belief that exposures to RF radiation are safe due to the limited penetration into the body (i.e. thermal heating of tissue).

This assumption does not take into account the deeper penetration of the ELF elements of modulated radio signals and the effects of brief bursts of heat from pulsed RF waves. These assumptions are not in line with current understanding of the biological consequences of RF radiation. As such, they should not be used for health protective exposure standards.

In addition there is the fact that both ICNIRP and FCC restrict the maximum limits of exposure to peak local SARs that are based on the peak spatial specific absorption rate (psSAR) that is not a sufficient dosimetric tool for determining the level of radiation exposure. In particular it is inconclusive when frequencies exceed 6 GHz. Additionally, psSAR hasn't been evaluated for safe distance to live from cell phone tower exposed to other agents of the environment such as sunlight. The interactions of RF radiation with other environmental agents could produce synergistic or antagonistic results. This would result in an increased risk of adverse health effects.
