I really enjoy Warcraft 3, and want to play it. TSACLUB The problem is that I transferred my old computer's files to my new computer after I bought it. Although this is a bad idea however, it saved me much time and could have saved me a lot of effort in patching and installing. This worked fine for quite time, until for some reason Blizzard decided to release patch 1.4. Now , the patch won't be installed on my computer due to the fact that the registry doesn't have its install identified, and I'm unable to no longer play online. The old computer is gone, and I'm unable to locate my CD Keys anywhere.
I've tried downloading and installing the patch manually, but this also searches for the install directory from the registry, and fails to install the patch regardless of what. I don't want another copy of Warcraft, so is there a way to make my current Warcraft copy patchable , or to enter it into the registry? Is there a place in the warcraft files where I can find the CD Keys I used for installing it? Are there other solutions I haven't already thought of?
