My Little Pony Hoodies is one of the most popular lines of My Little Pony toys. It has produced a wide assortment of ponies and is extremely loved by kids and adults.
Generation One (G1) was the first line of My Little Pony. These ponies were made in a conventional adult body and came in sets of 6-8.
There were a few variations of G1 ponies also appeared including the Sweetheart Sister ponies that had neon colors and crimped hair. Others were Fancy Mermaid ponies, which were adorned with hippocampi-like images which are the half-fish/half-horse creatures in Greek mythology. Flower Fantasy ponies were also distinct, since they were covered in symbols.
Some of the ponies that were manufactured during this time are still in production today. They can be sold in stores, while others are only sold through mail-orders.
Sunburst is a scarce and well-loved My Little Pony pony with a pegasus tail. An older version of Sunburst could be worth at least $250 in the resale market dependent on its condition and whether or not there are any tangles in its tail or mane.
Princess Pristina is another rarity My Little Pony with tinsel-like hair. The price is more than $575 in the market for second-hand items. Her adorable mark isn't painted or printed, instead it's a 3D diamond that's firmly to.
Many of the European ponies were also crafted with a different pose with their heads facing forwards instead of being flipped towards one side as in US models. They were often referred to as "Collector Pose" ponies because of their popularity with collectors.
Another popular pony is Honeycomb, a white earth pony with blue hair. Honeycomb is an UK exclusive, and is very difficult to come across.
Other European exclusives were also made during this period including Snowflake, Hopscotch, and Gypsy. Gypsy and Hopscotch are the most well-known and popular, however, other ponies were released too.
Although the Baby My Little Pony line wasn't as popular in Europe however, it did enjoy some popularity, especially in France and Germany. This was due to the fact that they were heavily based upon US ponies.
The year 1985 was when European ponies were more readily available, including Applejack and Bowtie. Both were available in both a green and a white version, although the green one wasn't widely available in the US.
Certain European ponies like Firefly were also re-released. She was released in an entirely new pose with videos. This was done to be competitive with the recently released My Little Pony series.
Gypsy, Hopscotch, and Snowflake are a few of the other European ponies to be released at the moment. Gypsy is the most popular of the ponies, is easily found.
A few of the more rare My Little Pony's sell at high prices in the resale market, however there are some that are very hard to locate and even more difficult to locate in good shape. Certain European Exclusives and first generation ponies are among the most difficult to come across.
