I'll stay 25 then. Here's how I'll initially appear (I'll describe my face later when the scene comes): About 5'7" height, Armor doesn't give too many body details away, but I seem to be strong and within normal, healthy body proportions. At the very least, I'm athletic and fit, and toned where it matters. My armor is a dull gray, and between it is patches of red stained leather and black cloth

Long blond hair that was always up in a bun, slender waist and body as she is healthy. Brown eyes and light cream colored skin. A waitress at a cafe so mostly wears skirts with whatever blouse she finds.

The sun, once again, rises to meet the horizon. Its golden rays shimmer through the tree-line, bouncing into the windows of the sleepy town. Fresh morning dew has settled into the grass as the warm breeze begun to sweep through the fields. Within the hour, footsteps echoed throughout the cobble streets as chatter caught the wind. In particular, people crowded around the cafe to get their day started.

I approach the shop, hand on the hilt of my sheathed blade, then stand to the side of the door silently.

Ella was inside serving a few other knights laughing, wearing a blue skirt with a white blouse. Her blonde hair was pinned up as always writing their orders down. She was small in body frame but still often attracted suitors. Seeing the knight she ran into often, Ella smiled waving to him as she saw a bit of his armor still. She turns walking towards the kitchen to turn in the orders.

The knight, seeing Ella's gesture, turned, and nodded gently. He then turned his eyes back onto the street, scanning through the crowd, occasionally giving a child a high five, or shaking the hand of those approaching to strike up conversation. Still, he remained unmoving and of few words. Whereas the other knights were known to slack off, he was always out and about on duty, patrolling and ensuring everyone's safety.

She serves the knights inside while Ella continues working as a few males walk out passed him, "Ella is a beauty huh? She turned down quite a few men already." Passing him. "I would at least like a night with her if she is gonna be like that." Walking down the street as Ella walks out holding a piece of paper. Standing next to the knight reading the list to herself.

At first, he doesn't recognize Ella standing there. But as she settled into place, the knight turned to her. "Good morning, miss Ella. Is there anything I can assist you with today?" He says softly. His voice echoes lightly within his helmet as he turns back to scan the streets. "It's been safe so far. And that's good."

glances up to him then chuckles, "always the helpful one sir knight." Tucks her list in her bag, "was just going to get ingrediants for cafe. The other knights in there eat so much!" Laughs as her eyes shut at the same time.

He chuckles at your comment. "Well, I suppose they do work hard. Thank you for serving them all the same. It means a lot to them." He sighs, then turns his body towards you. "Miss Ella, what ingredients would you need? My friend's farm isn't too far from town. If I come with you, perhaps I can help you resupply and carry it back to town. It'd be cheaper too, most likely."

blinks to him, "I couldn't ask for your help, you do enough, the other day you help me from almost running into an old man when I was carrying all that flour! I'm going to have to start a tab on how much you suddenly appear!"

Remaining silent, he shrugs. He reaches into a pouch strapped to his side, and on a piece of parchment, begins writing. "Here are the directions if you want to give it a try." He hands the paper to the young woman. "Discount or not, I can guarantee that the products are good quality. I personally use them myself."

"You cook?" Arches a brow accepting the parchment, "I would have known." Smiles up to him, "Thank you again, you saved me again." Walks off as she looks down at the directions

He sprints up behind her, tapping her shoulder. "Miss, it's that way." he says, pointing the opposite direction. "I can come with you if you want... actually..." He places his hand back onto his sword. "I... I will come with you. And I won't take no for an answer. Please understand." His voice trembles ever so slightly, then returns to its normal, gently, calm tone.

Blinks then arches a brow, "alright, were you nervous a second there?" Ella stood in front up him. She never saw his face. It made him interesting as she stares up to him.

He leans his helmet close to Ella's ear. "To be... open with you, troll attacks have become more and more frequent. Please, let me come with you. I only fear for the safety of the people." He rises back up to his strong posture, then steps back to give her space. "I'll have some of the other knights fill my spot in the streets here today, I just need you to stay safe. Please."

"Okay, that's fine, I have heard about the trolls." Follows the directions he wrote down with the knight following her, "too bad though, it would have been nice if you sfuttered cause you were nervous." Giggles following each step of the directions

"I... don't get nervous too easily." he chuckles. Bushes rustle around the pair as they continue through the narrow forest trail to the farm. Without any conflict they arrive. A young man is set up out by the bordering fence, crops and goods out on display. The knight taps Ella's shoulder again. "Choose what you need, the trolls become more active as the day goes on"

"Yes thank you." Looks over grabbing butter eggs by the 3 dozen, milk and flour. It was all put in a crate as she smiles to ths young man, "thank you so much sir!"

The two begin their trek back into the town, once again walking the narrow forest path. "My friend seems to have liked you. He gave you more of a discount than he gives me." the knight seems to be grinning through his helmet. He shakes his head quickly. "My apologies, I'll focus on scanning the area. I shouldn't get distracted." They near the edge of town.

"Hmm~ was that a,hint of jealously~?" Smirks up to him, "I'm just friendly to everyone. It's unfortunate I get courted by men who don't know me." Faces ahead while holding her bag which was old and was tearing a bit

"Jealousy? Perhaps." He laughs. "Here, let me take that for you." He scoops the bag out of your hands, effortlessly carrying it. He slows down, now walking behind the young woman. "I'll stay behind you. We're almost to town, and if anything happens, just run." They arrive at the gates without a problem.

Walking into the town she Ella looks back to him a few times as she slows her pace with him so she didn't get to the cafe too soon, "Can I ask your name? You've helped me too many times that I don't know it."

"My name..." He chuckles softly again. It's the most emotion the woman had seen from the young knight. "Sorry, it's just, nobody in town has ever been interested in my name. It's always been 'sir knight' or 'good knight." He switches the bag to his left hand, then extends an open palm to shake Ella's hand. "Miss Ella, my name is Egil. It's a pleasure to formally meet you."

He continues walking Ella back to the cafe, eventually arriving. He holds the door aside for her, then carries the goods and ingredients inside. "Where do you want these?" He asks

Was about to say when the boss came out, "I'll take those youmg knight" he was an older man taking the things from him. "Ella your on break, go rest for now!" Ella blinks to her boss who disappears in tje back. "Break? Um... Well... " looks up to Egil. "Guess I'm going to browse the shops you should get back to your post. Thank you for helping me Egil." Softly smiles to him as she walks out.

"Right, my post. I shall head back then." Egil stands in front of Ella for a minute, remaining silent, not knowing what to say or do. Suddenly, he speaks again."Thank you for allowing me to spend a bit of the day with you. It was... rather enjoyable." Turning away, Egil whistles a gentle tune as he exits the cafe.

Ella walks down the cobblestones passing couples arm linked or kissing. She looks at a few charms on a stall while she began looking. A knight stood next to Egil in the same armor speaking to Egil, "She fancies you Sir Egil."

"She?" Egil asks gently. He looks back, not seeing anyone. "I think I fancy her too..." Egil sighs dreamily. "You'll be okay, right, Sir Arthur? I've caught word that the king wants me to work against the trolls, which means I'll most likely be stationed out of town. I... I want you to keep her safe. And these people."

"Should you tell her now or when you come back?" He turns his head slightly but still looks to the crowd making sure there was no trouble. "Of course I'll be okay."_

"Hm... what do you advise? I've never been decisive where it counted. Besides, if I never do come back... I think I'm happy just knowing that I could make her life just a little easier. But... it would be a lie to say that having more time would be nice." Egil shakes his head at the conversation, then leans against a wall, relaxing his posture. "Sir Arthur... thank you."

Arthur chuckles, "your welcome, she is the most asked for maiden in the town, "Who are you talking about?" Ella had suddenly appeared next to Egil with a cute curious look on her features

"Ah, Miss Ella, we were only discussing... uh... the town. It's a nice, peaceful place. Should I ever be relocated, I'll miss it dearly." Egil says, getting back up from the wall, straightening his back. He looks back to Arthur. "Arthur, don't you have a shift at the town gate now that I'm back?"

Ignoring Arthur's teasing, Egil gives Ella his attention. "Was there anything you needed, Miss Ella?" Egil asks. He looks up, seeing the sun directly overhead. "It's the afternoon now, so, if you need to step out of town, please let me know first."

"I actually wanted to give you something. If you ever go off when you have to go fight trolls." Dug into her skirt pocket pulling out a hand crafted handkerchief. It was embroider but it was well taken care of. "It's for you Egil."

"F-for me?" He takes the handkerchief into his gloves. He removes a glove to run his fingers through it. Despite his profession, his hands look soft, smooth, and gentle. His skin is an olive tone. Silently, Egil sits on the bench. He turns to Ella. "Will you sit with me?" He asks, patting the empty spot to his side. He folds his hands into this lap, breathing a relaxed sigh, then stretches his hands into the air. "Ahhhh... you know... it's nice to have this. A break. A day. A day with you."

The helmet comes off his head, allowing his dark brown hair to fall. His hair is short, only falling to around eye height. He brushes the hair from his eyes, sweeping it lightly to the side. His smiling eyes are bright and full of life. He locks his gaze with the young woman, his amber eyes shimmering in the afternoon sun. Light, barely noticeable stubble forms around his jaw. His skin, still, is olive, and appears to be soft
