Due to large population of CCSJDM first year college working students we decided to invite 100 CCSJDM working students only to answer or participate in our survey or data collection of the study. The survey questionnaire was only given to those first year student that are currently studying while working or those student who used to work while studying. Students that aren’t working were not surveyed. Our group enter each first year college classroom and asked them to tell us who are the students that is working or used to work while studying. We used simple random sampling technique to choose participants among them.
In a simple random sample, every member of the population has an equal chance of being selected. Your sampling frame should include the whole population. To conduct this type of sampling, you can use tools like random number generators or other techniques that are based entirely on chance. Jim Frost (2023) Simple random sampling (SRS) is a probability sampling method where researchers randomly choose participants from a population. All population members have an equal probability of being selected. This method tends to produce representative, unbiased samples.
