These assumptions are not in line with the current understanding of biological consequences of RF radiation. Therefore they shouldn't be relied upon for health-protection exposure standards.

In addition to that, ICNIRP and FCC limit its maximum levels of radiation exposure for local peak SARs based on the maximum frequency of absorption (psSAR) that is not a reliable dosimetric instrument for determining the level of exposure to RF radiation. Particularly the psSAR tool is not accurate for frequencies that exceed 6 GHz. Furthermore, psSAR has not been tested for RF radiation with co-exposure to other environmental agents such like sunlight. The interactions of RF radiations with different environmental agents could produce synergistic or antagonistic effects. This could result in an increased risk of negative health consequences. For example, co-exposure to RF radiation with sunlight may cause an increase in the incidence of skin cancer, as well as aggravate other skin diseases such as acne.
