SpaceX Merch Now Accepts Dogecoin as a payment option

Today on Twitter, Elon Musk announced that Tesla will soon begin accepting Dogecoin as a method of payment for its products. This comes four months after Tesla started accepting DOGE in exchange for certain products, and could be a significant move forward in the direction of cryptocurrency.





While the currency has increased in value and is growing in popularity however, the use of it to purchase products is still a small part of the overall market. It's still an exciting improvement, and it demonstrates that SpaceX will experiment with new technologies to provide better service to their customers.





Musk's tweet caused the excitement of the world to explode. The price of DOGE was up to $0.2 following Musk's announcement. It is an indication of a solid and consistent commitment from the CEO to his favorite cryptocurrency and the fact that DOGE has been a major patron of Tesla's products ever since it first came out in the month of December in 2021.






While DOGE is a major fan of SpaceX however it's unclear whether it will be accepted for payments on spaceX merchandise. This is likely to depend on how well-known DOGE is, and how seamlessly the online store integrates it.





There are numerous other items that are available in order to help SpaceX's effort to join the space industry. For example the white hoodie sporting the iconic SpaceX X logo is available in a variety of sizes for men females, girls, and teens.





SpaceX is not the only company to sell merchandise however, its approach is different from most. Other companies and government agencies that supply supplies to manned space missions are not usually known for their merchandise, and instead focus on the actual mission or crew.
