In addition to medication, tonic-clonic seizures can be controlled with a special diet. Adding vitamin B6 to your diet can help reduce behavioral problems.
When a person has a tonic-clonic seizure, they can suffer from a headache, visual problems, and fatigue. If the tonic-clonic seizure lasts for more than five minutes, it is known as status epilepticus. The person should receive medical treatment and a hospital stay.
