The clip comes from Fandango and expands on a scene that we've seen glimpses of in the film's various trailers. As she cooks food for the family members, Ellie is possessed by an evil force. Evil Dead Rise is a true family affair and the series has left the iconic cabin in the woods and this time around , they're causing chaos inside a cramped apartment building.

The film of Lee Cronin's director (The Hole in the Ground) Evil Dead Rise is coming exclusively to theaters on April 21 2023. Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence), Morgan Davies (The End) and Nell Fisher (Splendid Isolation) appear alongside Alyssa Sutherland as well as Lily Sullivan.

Here's the official synopsis of the plot to Evil Dead Rise.

"In this, the sixth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her sister Ellie, who is raising three children by herself in a cramped L.A apartment. The sisters' reunion is cut short due to the discovery of a strange book deep in the bowels of Ellie's house, giving flesh-possessing monsters the chance to take over, and dragging Beth into a fight for survival when she is faced with the most frightening mommyhood story you can imagine."

Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert are producing Evil Dead Rise. According to Campbell, the three have been "very involved" in the project every stage of the process.

We've got a creepy new clip for you to watch for director Lee Cronin's terrifying horror film Evil Dead Rise. The video focuses on the character of the mother, Ellie, in the kitchen cooking up some delicious eggs, and their shells. Her younger sister Beth walks in with Ellie's three children, and they can immediately see there's something amiss.

Ellie has been clearly demonized and she begins to tell them a very unsettling story. While she's talking to her family, she is aware that she's been possessed and tells Beth to stay away from letting the spirit that has possessed her hurt her kids. Beth is now charged with protecting Ellie's kids from the deafening nightmare that has taken over their mother.

In this novel, "a road-weary Beth pays an unscheduled visit to her sister Ellie, who is raising three kids by herself in a cramped L.A apartment. The sisters' reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious document deep within the bowels of Ellie's building, giving the appearance of flesh-possessed demons and dragging Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is confronted by the most terrifying version of motherhood that is possible."

The film stars Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings) and Lily Sullivan (Picnic At Hanging Rock).Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence), Morgan Davies (The End) as well as Nell Fisher (Splendid Isolation). Evil Dead Rise is slated to release on 21st April 2023.
