What is the reason this bizarre theory start?

The story begins with McIndoe who was raised in a conservative home outside Cincinnati and later in rural Arkansas. He attended school at home and his parents taught him the conviction that evolution was a "massive brainwashing program" of the Democrats, and that Obama was the president. Obama was the antichrist.

He says he began hatching the Birds Aren't Real idea while being on a rooftop in Memphis. He recalled thinking that it would be fascinating for someone to be there with a sign that had nothing to do with anything that was taking place in the city.

He shared it with his friends and they were astonished. Then they shared the picture on Facebook.

They began receiving messages from people who couldn't believe the things they were seeing. They were all over the web posting videos of their"Birds Aren't Real" moments and even setting up billboards across the nation.

The biased content has attracted attention from the mainstream media, however certain people are skeptical of the theory. One commenter on a TikTok video asked if McIndoe was a real person, and other comments questioning the authenticity of the movement were deleted. Still, the Birds Aren't Real account has more than 296,000 followers on Instagram and 353,000 on TikTok. Although it has inspired a variety of chapters throughout the country however, it's not clear the percentage of its followers are real, and which are simply taking a satire view.
