Goku, the hero of Dragon Ball Z, is one of the most popular anime characters of all time. He is a Super Saiyan who is known for his strength and fighting prowess. Males of all ages love the idea of being a superhero and dressing up as a character like Goku can be a fun way to channel your inner hero for a night.
Despite being a super-powered hero, Goku also has a sense of style and appreciates fashion. Throughout his adventures, he's often seen wearing different outfits from around the world to suit his needs.
When he's on Earth, Goku wears bright orange traditional martial arts attire that is synonymous with him. He has a Gi that he wears when he fights, along with an undershirt and boots.
He also has a few other outfits that have changed over the years as he grows older and becomes more powerful. This costume is a good option to show off your fighting skills while getting attention from fellow cosplayers and fans of the anime.
learn more (Go) - The uniform Goku received from King Kai after his training during the Attack of the Saiyans. It features the Turtle School's Kanji on the front and King Kai's symbol, Jie Wang (Kaio), on the back. It is made from a lighter, yet more durable material than Goku's previous uniform. It was heavily destroyed during Goku's battle with Frieza.
Goten's Gi - The Gi that Goten wore as a child, and is very similar to his father's Gi. It is colored a more pale orange than the Turtle School Gi, but comparable to Goku's color during his Super Saiyan form. The only difference between Goten's Gi and his father's is the absence of the undershirt, wristbands and boots.
The Whis Symbol Gi - While the Whis Symbol Gi is an interesting look, it pales in comparison to the Turtle School Gi. It's not a bad outfit, but it doesn't stand out from the crowd and it doesn't look as cool on Goku as the Turtle School Gi does.
Yardrat Armor - While the Yardrat Armor doesn't look as sleek on Goku, it does have its own charm and appeal. It's not as cumbersome as the Saiyan Battle Armor and it doesn't seem to take up too much room on him, making it a good fit for a casual style of fighting.
During his off-hours, Goku usually wears his "59" look which is a more relaxed and casual style of clothing. This look was introduced in the Cell Saga and was a welcome change for fans of the series, as it gave viewers a more laid-back look at one of their favorite heroes.
He even has a few other outfits that have come and gone over the years, including a monk-style outfit that he wore during his time training with Kami. This outfit featured a paper umbrella as the hat and his hair was up in a turban, something that he learned from Mr. Popo, which is something that isn't often seen on the anime's heroes.
