The Minecraft Vanilla Cape has players puzzled. Minecraft has a variety of cool capes. Did you know this? It's one of those items in the sandbox that most people don't bother to look at. But they're there in case you require them. Some of these items can be used to transfer your Mojang account or to attend events. However, you must have done something before you can get an item that is coming up.
The Minecraft Vanilla Cape is, at the moment, a weirdly well-known secret. This is because an article about the cape was posted on the official Minecraft site earlier in the week, only to be removed a few hours later. It's a bizarre state things and there's no explanation for the reason.
Phoenix SC posted a video about the whole issue and even made an illustration to show the cape in action. The short version of the entire story is that Mojang posted a blog post that we've linked to, but which returns a 404 'not found' error, and then took it down. It explained that players who purchased both the Java and Bedrock versions of Minecraft before June 6, 2022 would receive a fancy Vanilla Cap.
The site was taken down within a couple of hours and can now be viewed only on the Wayback Machine. This is a bit odd. There's nothing especially sordid in the article and it doesn't seem like something that's been announced in the early hours. Although we don't know for sure why it was removed, it's obvious that it was. According to the Wikipedia, it was also posted on the Minecraft Discord server. Why was the post removed from the site?
