1. Bowtruckle adalah makhluk penjaga pohon yang di temukan terutama di Inggris barat, Jerman bagian selatan, dan hutan-hutan Skandinavia tertentu. Umumnya mahluk ini menempati pohon-pohon untuk membuat tongkat sihir seperti pohon cemara, elder, rowan, Wiggentree dan beberapa pohon untuk membuattongkat sihir lainya. Makhluk ini amat sulit dilihat karena ukurannya yang kecil, kurang lebih ukuran mereka antara15-20 cm dan penampilan mereka terlihat seperti kulit kayu dan ranting dengan dua mata kecil berwarna cokelat, tubuh yang lurus dan tangan serta kaki yang kurus seperti ranting pohon, sehingga hal ini membantu mereka mengkamuflase diri atau penampilan mereka,
