Yesterday was the 9th birthday celebration of my boy! NINE!! !



A Minecraft Party was requested. It's easy to look up other people's ideas and create one. So I came here and made this board. Sunny By Design had many wonderful things to offer. Here's a tribute to Minecraft Party..



Creeper juice. The little Chubby drinks. You can tear off the paper and put on your faces.



Torches= twisted pretzel sticks. I could have dipped them into red melted chocolate but time was running out. The slime balls were supposed to be jello green squares. However, they were kept in my fridge. The zombie boogies were wasabi beans!



Sorry for the blurry image below. I started making tiny TNT bundles, then decided not to, putting them in glass instead. My favorite part of the event was when I said "There are plenty of fruits and vegetables left!" If you don't consume them today I'm putting them into your bags of loot!" The food was being consumed as there was an audible woosh at the table. :



THe cake was a brownie rather than a cake. I decided to leave the edges uniced since the brownie would be more crumbly. Fluffy Boiled Frosting was the icing. It was not sweet at all. We had made way too many cakes so I made meringue puffs. I took them home as well.



Here's something I learned To make meringue, beat your egg whites, bake at 350 degrees, add them to the oven, shut off the oven, and let cool. It's easy.



The signs and grass leaves came from a Sizzix dies. The old ones, the large honkin' ones. It is possible to do this in the cuttlebug using a B plate on the bottom and top of the die. The A plate is not recommended at all. To let loose some party energy, we rented the local arena.



We go to the general skate at least once a week. this boy has come a long way over the past few weeks. Chernobog He even looks like a skater now!

Loot bag time!



And the loot inside. I don't like presenting loot bags that contain a lot of tiny things. So I gave handmade creeper cookies that took 2 days and a trip to the local bakery to ice (Thanks Flying Fox) and a CD of Minecraft Parodies. I found the title on YouTube and gave it to my husband to allow him to make his magic. Also, a few other snacks.

Edited May 8: Wow y'all are probably on a frenzy for minecraft party ideas.What we wouldn't do for our children. This blog has had more than 10,000 hits as of today. In my world, that's quite a amount. People have been pinning my creeper juice bottles like mad. Awesome. Check out my sidebar. 13 followers. This makes me feel a bit lonely.
