NURIL 2.5MG TABLET contains Enalapril which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) Inhibitors. It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. It also prevents the onset of signs of symptoms of heart failure (such as difficulty in breathing, swollen ankles and feet or extreme tiredness even after a mild physical activity).
Before taking NURIL 2.5MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, or heart problems (other than hypertension and heart failure). You must also inform your doctor if you are on a low salt diet or have diabetes or are severely dehydrated due to any recent sickness (such as vomiting or diarrhea).
NURIL 2.5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe hypotension (low blood pressure) and in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to increased risk of side effects. Stop taking NURIL 2.5MG TABLET and inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while undergoing therapy with NURIL 2.5MG TABLET.
NURIL 2.5MG TABLET may cause dizziness while standing up suddenly or while changing positions, especially during the initial days of the therapy. Therefore, do not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines as a precaution. Also, avoid consumption of alcohol as it could aggravate your dizziness.

HOW NURIL 2.5MG TABLET WORKS
NURIL 2.5MG TABLET effectively reduces blood pressure and signs of heart failure. It works by blocking the actions of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme, that causes narrowing of blood vessels and increase in blood pressure. As a result, it relaxes the blood vessels and allows blood to flow more smoothly across the blood vessels with less pressure.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take NURIL 2.5MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. NURIL 2.5MG TABLET can be taken with or without food.Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking NURIL 2.5MG TABLET unless your doctor advises you to stop.
