Minecraft streamer and creator of content Technoblade has passed away after an extended battle with stage four cancer, his family announced today in a statement to the world and video.
Techno had previously announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer in August. He has been updating his followers on a regular basis about his situation, while continuing to undergo treatment and creating content on YouTube.
In the video, posted on June 30, Techno's father spoke a final, posthumous message titled "so long nerds," that was written specifically for this occasion. It was filled with the creator's trademark dry humor and dark humor. However it also serves as an ultimate "thank you" to all the people who have embraced the Minecraft star throughout his career.
"Thank you for supporting my content over the years. If I had another 100 years of life I'm sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade each time. Since those were the most joyful years of my life," Techno said.
"I hope you enjoyed my content and that I was able to make some of you laugh. I wish you all on to live long prosperous, happy, and prosperous lives because I love you guys. Technoblade out."

Techno who is revealed as Alex Techno, discusses how the money he earned from merchandising and other "sell-outs" in the last year is going towards his siblings' college tuition. He also thanked his viewers for allowing him to share these happy moments with them, while an image slideshow that follows the various stages of his treatment is displayed on screen.
His father, who was there to hear Techno's final message describes how he initially planned to create and record the message prior to his death. However, Techno's declining health and other factors prevented him from doing this. According to his father, he wrote the message from his bed and died within eight hours of his death.
Technoblade's father told him that he was "the most beautiful child that anyone could ever wish for." "I miss Technoblade. Thank you to everyone of you for everything.
