The photos tell the opposite with fake furniture displayed throughout the house.



The living room is decorated with a bright red couch with cartoon fireplace as well as TV.

The post went viral and hundreds of people posted comments, joking that it was like a computer game.

But the photos aren't as clear - with fake computer generated photos al over the home and garden

Another said, "The metaverse exists now."



"He had a friend who knew someone who could do it at a lower cost ...' joked one.



"Reminds me of my nightmare where I'm stuck in a pool or burning home with no escape. Another wrote, "Karma for how I treated Sims 20 years back."

In the living room , there was a bright red couch, with an animated fireplace, and a TV. The dining table, garden and bedroom furniture were all computer generated .



LJ Hooker, a real estate agent, advertised the property and admitted that it was an inside job. Mary Aidonas, a realtor said to Yahoo News Australia that it was her little fake furniture. She said she wasn't an expert in graphic design, but decided to give it a try.

Realtor Mary Aidonas told Yahoo News Australia she was referring to it as her 'little fake furniture' and said she was 'not an expert' at graphic design but gave it a go.



She said, "It is from Paint. The new Paint. You can choose furniture. And so that is what was revealed."



People laughed that the house looked like a 'early noughties video game', with people comparing it to Sims and Minecraft



The house is adorned with fake furniture, which includes strange signs, the fire place, as well as multiple sofas



'I stretched it out and I thought, "oh it looks alright" at the time, and I thought we might get some exposure for it since it's been dormant for many years.'



She seems to have taken the reaction in good faith, however she said there's no thing as "bad press".
