In line with the latest research conducted by Travelzoo, British folks are the least worried about the impact of swine flu on the travel plans.
The organisation conducted a survey of 10,582 travellers in 24 regions across the UK, Germany, France and Spain which revealed that we now have vastly diverging attitudes towards swine flu, as British medical health insurance customers are far less cautious about the chance posed by the virus.

Sharron Livingston, editor at thetravelmagazine.net, said that people from the UK are renowned for keeping a stiff upper lip and not being deterred from their plans, but pointed out that they might be putting themselves in danger, even if the virus won't affect them too badly.
"Swine flu is highly contagious and although fatalities have been reported, these are few in number. Swine flu, like any flu, will make you are feeling very ill, nonetheless it should pass after a couple of days of rest," she explained.
Ms Livingstone added that people over the age of 65 will be the most at risk and children, but advised private health cover holders with underlying conditions to consult medical professionals before venturing overseas.
