Mojang also boasts a 30,000,000 statistic if you wish to know the actual numbers. This is the number of times the pint-sized version of the game has been bought.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition was launched long before the free to play trend was an "thing". It's sold for US$6.99 on the iOS App Store and Google Play and hasn't been subject to price adjustments. This means that the game has earned about $210 million in revenues. This is quite a bit of cheddar. And with its high App Store rank it's likely to keep making money for a long time.
