The MSc will provide insight into international business within a broad range of organisations. You will explore the features, organisational processes and challenges of international businesses, critically evaluating how they are affected by social, institutional and political influences. Our MSc Management pathways provide an introduction to management followed by a detailed exploration of a specific area of management theory and practice, in this case International Business. The course will build upon your existing capabilities from your first discipline and will develop your conceptual and theoretical understanding of business and management issues, problems and opportunities. Please note, part-time courses are not available to international students who require a Student visa to study in the UK.
The PMI-GAC is a specialized accrediting body for project management and related degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels of higher education worldwide. Firstly, you must have a keen understanding of how to practically apply the various skills and facts you have learned. Students will connect the knowledge, models and skills learnt in class with the everyday practice of business and management, improving significantly their employability after graduation. When not attending timetabled sessions you will be expected to continue learning independently through self-study. This typically will involve reading journal articles and books, working on individual and group projects, preparing coursework assignments and presentations, and preparing for exams.
