The Poker Scene in Asia
The Far East has always been a hot spot for gambling, with some of the world’s best casinos located there. But it’s not just the big name brands that have made the move to Asia, it’s also a region where poker is thriving and is set to grow even more in the coming years.

Whether you’re looking for a low stakes poker game or a high roller tournament, the Asian market is well worth checking out. While not as prestigious as the US or Europe, these markets are quickly becoming the epicenter for some of the most exciting tournaments in the world.

One of the most unique aspects of poker in Asia is the sheer amount of excitement that takes place at the tables. It’s not uncommon to see people yelling, snorting and laughing as the action unfolds at every hand, which is not something you usually get from a professional cash game or tournament in the West.

The biggest draw of all, however, is the sheer variety of poker styles and games available in Asia. Aside from the traditional Texas Hold’em and Omaha, you’ll find a number of Asian-themed variations like Pai Gow poker and Sic Bo.
