It's your own play area, with no regard to time zones or borders. You can play with nine other people and have access to over 100 pieces of content when you join Realitys Plus. You can also play with a regular account that allows you and your friend to create a private space. It doesn't matter which console or platform your friend is playing on, you can play in the same location. Keep in mind that your Realm is always online regardless of whether you're online. This means that anyone you invite can play even if they're logged into.
