Minecraft Update Adds Adorable Bees

Mojang is set to release the next update to Minecraft and it's delightful as it gets. Minecraft Snapshot 19W34A introduces bees to the open-world adventure game along with Bee Nests, Hives, and Honey. The Snapshot can be used by Minecraft Java users, provided they enable them in the Minecraft Launcher.



Most people are familiar with bees from their real life. However Minecraft's bee model is unique in its own way. WZJXZZ.COM Bees are neutral creatures. They will not harm the player unless they first attack. Similar to real bees if a bee stings the player it will lose its stinger, and eventually die. Bees will travel between flowers and their home and help grow crops along the way. They can even share the flowers with other bees. Bees can also be bred by using flowers.

Bee Nests can be found in Flower Forests and Plains biomes. Bee Hives are crafted by players using honeycomb and wood planks. The honey level in their home will increase up to five levels when the bees move between nests and flowers. Players can even use campfire smoke to calm the bees that are in their home, and then make use of a silk-touch tool to unlock the block with the Bees stored within. Using sheers on a Nest/Hive with honey that is full will result in a honeycomb or Bottle to make the Honey Bottle.



Honey Bottles are delicious and can also be used to create sugar. Honeycombs are, for the time being, only used to make the Bee Hive. Mojang has also modified Dispensers to allow them to fill them with honey or water. They can also shear Honeycombs from Bee Nests and Hives. This is all you as a Minecraft beekeeper needs to get started with their own Bee farm. It's a nice calm and amiable update in comparison to the typical Minecraft insanity.



Although the most recent update for Minecraft won't have an enormous difference in how people play the game, it’s the perfect update for a game that's 10 years old. It adds a cool feature however, it's also enjoyable and thoughtful. The Bees are adorable and the way that their AI works is both easy and well-executed. The Bees act like bees. It is possible to create honey using mechanics that make sense. And the introduction of Bees will make the world of Minecraft better, without forcing players to change how they play. It's another great day in Minecraft.



Bees are currently only available in the Java version of Minecraft using the latest snapshot. Keep an eye on the news feed for information on when the update will be made available in other Minecraft versions.
