If you are applying for other courses you can tell us you want to join a sports academy at your interview. Each year, we offer up to 10 Sports Scholarships with the Academies to develop sporting success. Scholarships are allocated later in the first term, based on sporting ability, commitment to Academy training and performance and attitude towards studies. Helping Children And Young Adults Realise Their Potential Through Sport And Physical Exercise
Here at Kent Sports Academy we provide a variety of courses at a range of levels for you to choose from. You decide how to enhance your skills and knowledge about personal training or sports massage. If you’re a talented athlete with the passion to develop your skills, then Barnsley College Sports Academy could be your ideal destination.

The players will be given the opportunity to analyse their individual performances on a weekly basis as part of their college studies. A WFCCSET/SRAFA team will participate in a formalised league, playing league and cup fixtures in the Watford FC kit against teams from other professional clubs' community trusts/foundations. Outstanding coaching from WFC CSET community coaches will provide boys with the opportunity to train in allocated programme slots on their timetable. Students will experience high-quality sessions run by UEFA B licensed coaches.


Since joining the academy in 2017, Annalise has shown dedication and passion for her sport and has achieved great things. As a member of the academy since 2019, Jacob is a passionate Goalie who protects his house and has achieved a great deal in a short space of time. As a member of the academy since June 2019, Faith is skating from strength to strength and has a promising future ahead of her. What Academies Are There?
From kids parties, kids holidays camps, free open weekends to The Pavilion Llandarcy our very own brand new and exciting restaurant and sports bar. "What a great idea this league format is. Apply For The Sports Academy
If successful in the trial phase, students wishing to join our academies, must meet the entry requirements of our Sixth Form offering and submit an application form following their choice of subjects. Each of our academies works with prestigious partners known for excellence in sport, ensuring that students have access to the best quality provision available. Our double sports hall and secondary sports hall are ideal for many practical lessons. Outside our students are spoilt for choice with the number of sports pitches, and ranges on our 360-hectare campus. You don’t have to be studying sport to apply for an Elite Sports Performer Bursary – all students are welcome. Bishop Burton College’s highly successful academies allow talented athletes to access top-class coaching and training.

We have fourteen halls of residence, with the option of en-suite or shared bathroom facilities for you to apply for. Online courses available in business, IT, care and more, to study at home when it suits you. Jess has a MSc in Sports Rehabilitation and BSc in Sports, Exercise and Physical Activity, and has excellent practical experience in a variety of sports, including rugby union, football and netball. This allows her to provide focused injury diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation programmes, guided training opportunities and continued support for all of our athletes. All our professional coaches have elite-level sport experience and applicants to academy programmes must demonstrate a level or achievement or potential at regional or national level in their chosen sport. Pioneer Sports Academy aim to inspire and nurture the future generation through sport. We have a holistic approach and work with teachers and leadership teams to ensure that the programmes we run are right for your students.

February Sports Camps
Since their inception, the Academies have gone from strength to strength, with students supported to reach their full potential and many competing at the highest levels in their chosen sport. If you are a keen Football, Cricket or Netball competitor, you can apply for a place on one of our prestigious Sports Academies. Our Academies offer dedicated sportsmen and women the perfect opportunity to achieve high levels of sporting performance alongside their academic studies. Our Academies are coached by FA and UKCC coaches, who have played to a high level themselves. Performance and academic progress are reviewed three times a year, which reminds players how closely they are linked. Players receive three one-to-one reviews with their coaching staff and targets are set accordingly.

Other Offers
Students with promise will be recommended for trials and linked with Saracens Mavericks development pathway opportunities. Here you will find information about what to expect from the netball programme at Samuel Ryder Academy. Students will also need to successfully complete a football trail process before being offered a placed on the programme. After a fantastic inaugural season, the team will be looking to build on their Championship winning success when the season gets underway at Oulton Park on May 1st. If you hold no fitness qualifications and wish to pursue a career in the fitness industry, this is the starting point. Includes Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 PT with practical workshops.

Sportsacademies
Strength and analysis sessions for all players and video analysis of games. Students get the opportunity to train and play alongside giants academy players on the fringe of featuring in the super league and playing professional rugby. The Bexhill College Sports Academy enables students to develop their sporting skills whilst attending College and gaining academic qualifications. Students in the Academies have the opportunity to represent the College in regional and national events through AoC Sport. Whether you're a top-level athlete or you just want to give something a go, you can get involved with our sports academies, the competing arm of SGS Sport.

We are proud to work with Watford Community and Education Trust , Saracens Rugby and Saracens Mavericks as part of our dedicated sports programme. Further explore our college to discover some interesting works our past and current students are doing to help the community. Start offering Sports Massage to clients not just fitness fanatics but teams or office workers. Combined with Level 4 Sports Massage to aid injury and dysfunction of common complaints and how to treat them. Rugby Coaching And Leadership Sessions
Our mission is to inspire children to participate in sport – to learn new skills, to develop them to the best of their ability and to achieve their greatest potential. We’re passionate about creating the ideal environment for children to enjoy the start of their sporting journey – wherever it may take them. Whether you're a top-level athlete or you just want to give something a go, you can get involved with American Football here at SGS Sport. We have Elite level sports Academies and a National Premier Division Adult team, as well as grassroot flag and social/participation teams for all ages. Along with the S&C sessions the students will be given nutritional advice along with injury prevention programmes.


Each of our sports are delivered by highly-experienced coaching staff. Training takes place at schools, venues and sports facilities across Edinburgh. At the Academy of Sport we understand the importance of creating pathways for our athletes. We have developed a number of partnerships that will enable you to progress into semi-professional and professional sport.

In 2018, the men’s swim team qualified for the national finals at the Iconic London Aquatic Centre. Previous successes have included one of our Academy swimmers representing the South East in the 50m Freestyle and Back, achieving a Silver and Bronze in the National finals in Newcastle. In 2015, one of the Academy students won the 50m Freestyle Race and qualified for the National Championships in Bath, winning the Women’s Team Swim Gold. Students in the Golf Academy have competed all over the country, which has included competing in the AoC Open Golf Championships at the world-renowned St Andrews Golf Club, with one student placing net 2nd overall. In 2015, the students also entered the Southern Open Golf competition at Magnolia Park, Buckinghamshire and successfully competed to their handicap levels. One of our previous Academy students even qualified for the National Championships in Bath where he finished 14th overall out of 21.

Ace Rugby Union Performance Academy
The trips and away matches prepared me for the commitment needed to perform at a higher level. Without the experiences I gained during my time at Kirklees College, I may not have been in the position I am today. The college will be running 3 teams again this year in the very competitive AOC college leagues. These games give the players opportunity to play against like minded colleges with the chance to win promotion from their respective leagues. We will video all of our games that will allow us to look at our strengths and weaknesses as a team and as individuals.

Players have a high expectation placed on them by coaching staff and subject tutors. If you have a real talent for sport, join one of our Sports Academies! You will have the opportunity to combine your full-time studies with an elite training programme involving professional coaching and competitive matches to stay at the top of your game.

The chance to compete in the successful NPTC Group of Colleges’ sporting teams. There is a £50 joining fee and a £10 administration fee to join the health and fitness gym. It has been a very interesting start to my time with Lions, taking my RFU coaching course and being able to discuss with a lot of coaches how they...... In 2017 and 2018, the College won the AoC South East Regional final and represented the area in the Nationals in Nottingham, where the South East region finished 1st overall in the National Championship. Most recently, in 2018 three students from Bexhill College represented the South East Region and achieved a Silver medal at the Nationals. The Cricket Academy has now won the AoC Indoor 24 Cricket Regional Champions on two occasions , representing the AoC South East Region at the National Indoor 24 Championships at Edgbaston.
