To my fellow classmates, peers, and our beloved teachers. I'm Rhyz Joshua O. Baria, a devoted Southern Christian College student, and good morning. My primary fields of protection are sexual harassment and sexualization. This is a major issue for every sexual orientation, but mostly for lgbtq people.
The reason I'm calling this an awareness is because this problem isn't getting much attention due of the other problems we have. These may also have an impact on the victim's emotions and mental health, which may drive them to avoid social interactions and maybe have an impact on their academic performance. I chose this subject as my advocacy because I want to provide justice for all people of every genders who have been the victims of acts that can leave them with lifelong traumas and discomfort. I'm using this opportunity to be a spokesperson for them and fight out for them. Instead of allowing verbal sexual assault to be accepted as normal, we should be building a school that inspire for humanity in general.
