Christy's Hat Factory Visit
The hat-making company Christy's has been in operation for 240 years. Three sisters whose family founded the firm visited Witney yesterday. They were given a tour of the factory by managing director Steve Clarke and told it was originally their family's company.

The family has been in business since 1773 and is still going strong. It has major production facilities in Stockport and London and has recently moved to Witney. It is also part of the Associated British Hat Manufacturers Ltd and is now owned by Liberty of London.
