Gallery Dept T Shirt
Founded by artist Josue Thomas, Gallery Dept is an art project in the form of a streetwear brand. Using upcycled and dead stock garments, Thomas re-purposes and deconstructs them into works of art.

The brand's paint-splattered hoodies, logo tees and flared jeans have become unlikely objets d'art in a crowded market. Kendall Jenner, Kendrick Lamar and Migos have all been spotted wearing the label's work.

In a quest to produce the highest quality currency in the world, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing uses the latest printing technologies. Among the more notable are intaglio presses and a dry printing process that uses non-offset inks.

The most impressive of these is the intaglio machine that prints up to 32 notes per sheet. This process uses a special type of paper designed to allow the intaglio machine to make a clean impression of a fine-line engraving.

This technology was first put to good use in 1952 when the Bureau increased the number of notes per sheet by a factor of 10. Its finest moment was the introduction of dry intaglio printing, which allowed the Bureau to achieve the same feat with less risk of distortion. The intaglio machine has since become standard equipment at BEP facilities across the country.
