Horcrux
Horcrux adalah benda-benda yang digunakan untuk mewadahi kepingan jiwa penyihir yang sudah melakukan tindakan paling keji, yaitu pembunuhan. Asal usul horcrux, Voldemort memang terkenal dengan horcrux tapi dia BUKAN pencipta horcrux. Menurut JKR, sebelum Voldemort sudah ada penyihir-penyihir lain yang membuat Horcrux, walaupun tidak ada yang membuat sampai enam. JKR atau J. K. Rowling Penulis, pencipta dan yang membuat 'dunia' Harry Potter. Hor adalah kependekan dari kata Latin horreum, "gudang penyimpanan" dan Crux berarti "salib" dalam bahasa Latin. Namun di sini lebih tepat dikatakan kalau kata "crux" adalah kependekan dari kata crucis, "siksa".
