Kids Party Planning Ideas
Parents want their kids to have a successful party event. Planning a party itinerary beforehand is key to assuring that kids are kept entertained and amused during the event. Give yourself at the very least a month to make sure everything runs smoothly on party day.

Start planning early and choose the party date and time while avoiding any holidays or school vacations. Kids parties tend to be about 2 hours long.

Next you and the party honoree should create a guest list in order to regulate how many kids will attend. One guideline for birthday parties is - 1 guest per year old - around 10 years old. Younger kids always like a Barney or Dora the Explorer theme. Party games, especially ones with little prizes, could make the party extra fun. Make an effort to make sure everyone wins something - so every child goes home feeling happy.

Your event may also demand an entertainer so be sure you book them early in order to avoid disappointment.

Once the event is concluded, your child can hand out the party favours or "loot bags" and thank each guest for coming. These party favours need not be elaborate, but just reflect the theme of your day. They can even be handcrafted items made through the party. Dollar stores are great sources for loot bag items. Check for colorful tote or mesh bags to place the loot in. For older children, one nice item - a t-shirt, sports ball or $5 gift card, may be better appreciated.
