Review of Black Butler, the Anime
Black Butler, a manga series by Yana Toboso and Yana Toboso, has been made into anime, musicals, OVAs, and more. It was listed among the top 50 mangas in Japan in 2020, and has been a staple of the Japanese manga industry for more than 10 years.


Black Butler is an excellent read for those who want to get a new view on fantasy. The story is dark and is centered around a young boy named Ciel Phantomhive, and his demon butler Sebastian Michaelis.


The story takes place in Victorian London. Ciel, whose family was murdered by arson, struck a deal with a demon to get revenge against the people who killed his parents. Ciel and Sebastian serve as the devoted butlers of their masters, running errands and seeking out those responsible for Ciel's parents death.


There are a lot of things which make this show distinctive including the fact that Ciel and Sebastian's relationship can be strained because of their divergent views. But this doesn't hinder them from working together to achieve their goals.


This is an anime that's enjoyable to watch even though it's dark. The characters are diverse and the lore is rich. This show is a great alternative for those who wish to try something different. It is filled with a lot of humor and also some cringe.


Anime Dakimakura Pillows of the series are Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis, who each possess their own distinct personality and are loyal to their master. The rest of the cast include house servants and Grim Reapers, which makes the show seem very balanced.


Ciel Phantomhive: A boy of 12 years old. Ciel is a member of the wealthy Phantomhive household and is also a member of the Queen's Watchdog. When his parents are lost due to fire, Ciel gets a demon-themed branding. He is later taken to Sebastian Michaelis, a demonic butler who accepts him as a servant. After Sebastian's arrival Ciel will sign a contract with Sebastian to exchange his soul.


While Sebastian assists Ciel as a servant, he also carry out a variety of missions to the Phantomhive household and the Queen's Watchdog. These range from solving murders to finding a mysterious cult that wants to raise the dead.


A lot times these cases may not seem that important at first. But as the cases get more complicated, they'll become interesting.


For example, in the Noah's Ark Circus arc, Ciel and Sebastian find a suspect group of magicians who are seeking to kidnap children and transform them into satanic idols. They don't realise how dark the world can get until they discover that Ciel is a part of these magicians.



The series doesn't have any fixed release schedule, however it usually has two chapters each month. The manga is sure to keep you entertained while you follow Ciel, Sebastian and their adventures.
