Traveling - One of Life's Greatest Treasures
This knowledge could be better accomplished first hand through foreign travel, without which, people's stipulations are left to assumptions of others' life-style. Planing a trip to different cities or countries you obtain the experience of a lifetime. Not only by word of someone else who visited are seeing it on television. Seeing places you have never been for the very first time makes you feel overwhelm, excited, or perhaps a bit curious for more info rmation.

Toronto Canada is home of the CN Tower near the central waterfront rises high on the city at 553 m (1815 ft). It is among the tallest freestanding structures on the planet. Next to it is the SkyDome, the initial domed stadium with a retractable roof. The state-of-the-art SkyDome stadium complex built in 1989 features a retractable roof that can open in 20 minutes to expose the playing field and most of the 50,000 seats to the open air. It is the home of professional football, basketball, and baseball teams-the Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, the Raptors of the National Basketball Association, and the Blue Jays of the American League. And lets not forget Niagra falls you may be amazed at the lots of of water that spills over the Falls every minute, as you stand t here just a few feet from the edge. On board the "Maid of Mist" going towards and feeling the mist fall on your face from the falls, enables you to want to touch base and touch the water falling from so high. From the Falls, the water travels down the Niagara River to Lake Ontario, then to the St. Lawrence Seaway and finally to the Atlantic Ocean. Horseshoe Falls Fast Facts. The Canadian Falls is approximately 52 metres(170 ft) high. The depth of the river at the base of the falls is really higher than the falls itself. The Canadian Falls was initially described as "horseshoe" shaped in 1721.

Washington houses many famous and interesting public buildings and monuments. South of the Federal Triangle may be the Mall, a narrow park stretching roughly 1.6 km (1 mi) from the Capitol to the Washington Monument. The Washington Monument, whose marble shaft dominates the skyline, stands 169 meters (555 feet) high near the center of the parkland. This monument's 36 columns represent the 36 states in the Union during Lincoln's death in 1865. Nearby, the Arlington Memorial Bridge spans the Potomac and connects the Lincoln Memorial with Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Close to the Lincoln Memorial may be the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The most famous museum in Washington is the Smithsonian Institution.

The National Museum of African Art was the initial museum in the United States devoted exclusively to African art. The Museum of Natural History houses a lot of the world's most famous gems, and the National Museum of American History traces the development of the United States through scientific, technological, and cultural exhibitions. Other important collections in Washington are the National Gallery of Art, one the nation's chief art galleries, with major collections of European and American paintings; the Dumbarton Oaks Museum, with an accumulation of pre-Columbian and Byzantine art; the National Building Museum, focused on American achievements in architecture, construction, engineering, and design; and america Holocaust Memorial Museum, which provides information about the persecution and murder of Jews in Europe during World War II. New York has long been a leader in the political, cultural, and economic life of america. Whether viewed from the Adirondacks' mile-high Mount Marcy or from NY City's famous Empire State Building, completed in 1931, was the tallest building on the planet.

Through foreign travel it is my opinion that the best way of acquiring the knowledge needed for someone to be properly educated on a foreign life-style is through foreign travel. Through man's technological advancements we are able to also obtain this knowledge second handedly from television, newspapers, magazines, books or via the web.
