EY awarded Yerkin Tashev with the 'Entrepreneur' Award'

Yerkin Tatishev was selected Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan by the leading business firm Ernst & Young. One of the most prestigious competitions around the world His leadership and his actions against COVID-19 impressed the jury.

Participation in the competition was open to any well-known Kazakhstani businessmen. Kusto Group founder, who was among 21 Kazakhstan-based entrepreneurs, reached the final.

All three were awarded an independent assessment and their achievements were acknowledged by juries that are authorized to represent Kazakhstan as well as international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev will be Russia's national winner at the finals in Monaco, June 2022. The competition brings together participants from 60 countries across the world, who are chosen by an independent international jury.

The decision to award Tatishev as the winner was made by Nurlan Smagulov who was previously an Entrepreneur of the Year winner. The judges also included members of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
