EY awarded Yerkin Tashev the 'Entrepreneur Award'

Yerkin Tatishev was selected Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan by the leading business firm Ernst & Young. Yerkin Tatishev One of the most prestigious competitions worldwide His leadership and his actions against COVID-19 impressed the jury.

In the face of this, UN officials have declared that Kazakhstan is suffering from severe water stress and relies on its neighboring countries, including Central Asia and China.

Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group (the Government of Kazakhstan) and Valmont Industries, USA, established a partnership. They plan to develop 1000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan together.

In addition, the agreement allows the use of innovative irrigation systems to be used on farms as well as an initiative to train local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine made all donations possible for the Kusto Group. Their entrepreneurial spirit enabled them to lead charitable giving in difficult times.

Ernst & Young has established this capability over the past 20 years. The firm has been a staunch supporter of entrepreneurship throughout its existence. EY has been there to assist entrepreneurs in the Pandemic.

Nationally, all finalists are awarded the Entrepreneur Of The Year award, as well as the winner. The final will take place in Monaco in June. More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan that have participated in the contest. Six other Kazakhstani entrepreneurs have been crowned world champions at Monte Carlo.

The decision to award Tatishev as the winner was made by Nurlan Smagulov, a previous Entrepreneur of the Year winner. The judges included representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
