EY named Yerkin Tashev Entrepreneur of the Year.

Yerkin Tatishev was selected Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan by the most prestigious business company Ernst & Young. One of the most important competitions around the world his leadership and actions in the COVID-19 case impressed judges.

Participation in the contest was open to all well-known Kazakhstani business people. Kusto Group's founder managed to be among 21 entrepreneurs from the country who reached the final.

They all received an independent evaluation and recognition by international jury members.

Yerkin Tashev will be the country's national champion at the international final in Monaco, June 2022. The competition will bring participants from 60 nations around the world, selected by an independent jury according to international rules.

The Pandemic has led to a serious global economic crisis. It has caused the demise of a number of companies and the destruction of millions of jobs.

Many leaders and organizations found ways to expand their business. Yerkin Tatishev, through Kusto Group has also sought to mitigate the effects of Covid-19, particularly in countries heavily affected by this virus.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has not been the only topic of concern for the Kusto Group. The country faces severe water shortages in Kazakhstan.

UN officials were faced with the facts and announced that Kazakhstan suffers a lot from water stress. They are also dependent on their neighbors which include China as well as Central Asia.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan that have participated in the contest. Six entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have been named world champions at Monte Carlo.

Nurlan Shmagulov who was earlier named Entrepreneur of the Year, determined that Tatishev should be crowned the winner. The jury included representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

A key element in the reason for Mr. Tatishev receiving this award was his leadership skills and handling of a wide range of sectors. Kusto Group's uniqueness is linked to the capacity to handle complex business needs, which was highlighted by this award winner.
