FX's hit animation series Archer tells the story of Sterling Archer, a suave but bumbling spy at ISIS, the world's secret intelligence service, in support of his dysfunctional mom. The show is known for its lively dialogue and pop references to culture. It also has received an acclaim from critics as well as a large fan base. The show was invented by Adam Reed and is a mix of character-driven comedy, metacomedy, and spy-spoofs.
