Link voor de correcte (en meest recente) MAC versie is; http://download.sopcast.com/download/SopCastOSX-1.6.4.zip
Na de installatie start je de programma op, meldt je je anoniem aan en plak je de link (vb: sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/258923 ) in het adresbalk en druk je op enter, of klik je op de blauwe pijl langs het adresbalk.
Het kanaal start dan met laden wat gemiddeld zo'n 10-15 seconden kan duren.
Rechtsonder in het scherm zie je een percentage (buffer) dat minimaal op 70% moet staan wil je fatsoenlijk iets kijken zonder dat het vastloopt. Als het kanaal na een minuutje of twee niet boven die percentage komt kun je het beste een ander sopcastlink proberen.
Via een omweg kun je ook acestream-links bekijken op een MAC. Het is best een ingewikkeld proces omdat je een app nodig hebt die KODI heet.
