Chapter 1

I walked into the diner full of hungry, goblins, people, trolls, etc. I sat down at the bar. "What would you like to drink Syla?" The Cyclops bartender said, Fel. You might be thinking, what's a Syla? Well it's my name. "I think ill just have a water Fel," I said. He slid a water to me. "There's a new guy in town," Fel said. "Oh really?! What race is he, goblin,troll,person?" I asked. "Assassin," he replied. "How did he even get into the town?!" I said. "I hear they just let the guy in," Fel said. "Wow," I said. Then the doors to the diner opened and an man came in, he was dressed like an assassin. "That must be him," Fel whispered. Everyone stared at the assassin as he walked to a seat, he sat one seat away from me. Everyone went about there business. "What would you like to drink newcomer?" Fel asked. "Got any lemonade," He asked. A few goblins and me and Fel stared at him. Only special people can drink lemonade, there supposed to have like this special power, I can drink lemonade, but I haven't found my power yet. "Oh yeah, uhm, ill just have a water," he said. I couldn't help but introduce myself, it was rare to find someone who can drink lemonade like me! "I'm Syla!" I said. "Chalk," he said. His name is CHALK! Well I shouldn't make fun of his name when my name is Syla. "I hear you can drink lemonade," I said. "Not many people can," he replied. "I can drink lemonade to, have you discovered your power?" I said. "Yeah," he replied. Then 2 men, witch men, walked in with suits on. "Oh no," Chalk whispered. The 2 witches walked up to Chalk and turned his seat around so Chalk would face the witches. "Well, well, well, look who it is," the taller witch said. "You'll never touch me," Chalk punched the taller witch and kicked the smaller one. Soon enough everyone was fighting, one man climbed up on the bar and started trying to grab beers away from Fel. I ran out but before I could a goblin grabbed my shirt. "No one leaves during a fight," the goblin said. "Except me," I said. I kicked his leg and fell down. He tried to run at me again but I slid out the door and he slammed his face into the floor. Therefore, he passed out. I ran outside to find my horse stolen! I saw Chalk run outside with a small troll on his back, which he threw off. He hopped on his horse. "Wait! Let me come with you!" I screamed. "Well hurry up!" Chalk said. I hopped on the horse and the horse ran at high speeds. "Where are we going?" I asked. "We? Who said anything about we?" Chalk said. "I can help you!" I said. "No, I'm doing dangerous things and I dont need people getting in my way," Chalk said. "Well, I had the power of 10.98," I smirked. Let me explain what I mean by power of 10.98, everyone does this school thing to test there strength and ability and it goes all the way up to 11.00. "I've never met anyone with a score like that," Chalk said. I smirked. "Except me, I had 11.00," Chalk said. "What?!" I stopped smirking. "But I guess I could use a person like you to help me," Chalk said. "So where are we going," I said. "To stop Jupuy,the assassin leader," Chalk said. "But aren't you like an assassin," I kinda mumbled. "Used to, until he locked him in a cellar with no food or water," Chalk said. "Why are we stopping him anyway?" I said. "Hes planning to kill all royalty, and take over humanity, and monsters," Chalk said. "Oh jeez," I whispered. "I have a cave, well my home, we leave tomorrow,"
