3. 3-е поколение (1964-1970 гг.) – интегральные схемы и совместное использование микропроцессоров, которые позволили создавать более мощные и компактные ЭВМ.
4. 4-е поколение (1971-1980 гг.) – микропроцессоры, микросхемы и микроконтроллеры. Эти технологии позволили компьютерам стать еще более компактными и доступными.
5. 5-е поколение (1981 г. по настоящее время) – Компьютерные технологии нового поколения.
Классификация ЭВМ:
1. Суперкомпьютеры - ЭВМ, используемые для научных и инженерных расчётов, необходимых для работы с большими объёмами данных.
2. Мини-компьютеры - ЭВМ, применяемые в небольших компаниях, вузах или в лабораториях для выполнения научных и инженерных задач.
3. Средние компьютеры - ЭВМ, используемые в средних и больших предприятиях для автоматизации бухгалтерии, управления кадрами, складами и другими процессами.
