Staff Rule Guideline:


Intro:
Make sure that when you are promoted you are a symbol of peace but most importantly you reflect the positive image of the staff. If demoted you do not react in chat but instead make it official and move on with your life. You must constantly help others around you and must never use your powers to your advantage or others. You must act mature all of the time and make sure that you are a positive figure on the server and on forums. People look up to you.

Guidelines:

Not Hacking or using a modded client:
- if a player is using a modded client to make themselves better and give themselves an advantage over other players will receive a three month ban and can request an unban on the forums. All hacks must be recorded on a screen recorder and uploaded to forums or if you have another staff member to witness the hacks as well. (Only a staff member higher than you). If a you are unsure about a client they are using record it and post it to forums for further investigation. If a player asks you if a client is ok make sure to look up the client to see if it has abilities to gain an advantage such as x-ray, flying, spider, etc.
Spamming:
- if a player constantly spams in the chat; a 5 minute mute will follow the constant spam. If the player decides to avoid the mute and find other ways to communicate and spam the server they shall be kicked. If they continue to spam after kicked and mute they shall receive a 2 hour ban. If they return they shall receive a 48 hour ban and if they continue after the ban there will be a perm ban.

Insults:
- if a player is continuously insulting a player make sure to first warn that player in what they are doing is wrong. Secondly make sure that the person being offended has ignored that player. if the player does not wish to ignore the player and does not care then see what happens and if the antagonist stops then no action needed. If however the antagonist continues to insult this person whether or not they have ignored them they will receive a 5 minute mute and if they continue afterwards they will be kicked. if they continue they will receive a 1 hour ban and when they return if they continue they will receive a 24 hour ban. After that they will receive a 48 hour ban and after that they will receive a perm ban. If however they stop after any of those punishments no further punishments will be needed.

Exploits/Glitching:
- If a player or players are exploiting a glitch knowing that it will hurt the server and affect them or others in a positive or negative way will result in a punishment. A one week ban of 7 days will occur following an exploit of a glitch on the first case. The glitch will then be reported to staff and not on the public forums until the said exploit or glitch has been resolved. The second account of a glitch will result in a 3 month ban. Third account of exploit/glitching will result in a perm ban. Block glitching is not an issue. Ask other staff before taking action. Before coming to an official agreement ban the player temporarily to insure that you can figure out what is going on without having them continue to exploit or telling others.

Ddosing/threatening to ddos:

- The idea of ddosing the server is almost like attacking a county. It is similar to a terrorist attack in our society today. Any threat to "end the server" or "ddos the server" in any way will result in a warning. If the player continues to threaten the server there will be an instant 7 day ban. If the player successfully ddos'es the server then they will be perm banned. Any other actions are left to the individual staff member to control the situation. If a player is joking warn them that it is not a joke but do not ban for someone who is joking (Kicking, muting).

Posting Personal Information:

- if a player is posting other personal information of players on the server they will be instantly warned. If they continue they will be muted for 10 minutes. If they continue they will be kicked. If they still continue to post information in chat or on forums they will be banned from the server for 48 hours. If after the ban they continue they will be banned for 7 days. Then they will be banned forever if they continue after that. This is not tolerated. People will try to joke about this and it is up to the individual moderator/helper/admin to control the situation.

Sexism, Racism, Homophobic

- Do not tolerate any sexism, racism, or anyone being homophobic towards any player on the server on forums. Forum bans will follow any serious comments that put people at risk. In the server staff will need to warn first. Mute second for 5 minutes. Kick afterwards if they continue to post/chat. 24 hour ban if they continue after that. 7 day ban if they still continue. 3 month ban if they continue to be sexist, racist, or homophobic towards anyone after all of these punishments and warnings. If they continue after a 3 month ban they will be perm banned.



- Any other issues are left to the individual to control as a moderator of the server. Your goal is not to ban. Your goal is try and keep that player from doing what they are doing in the best to your ability. Your final option should be a ban.




Promotions/Demotions:

- As a member of staff you are seen as an official and mature member of the community. Demotions and promotions can create tensions and issues. Do not spam the chat with how you are upset but instead if you have questions message a staff member. Do not spam staff members if they give you an answer and do not want to be annoyed. Accept the demotion or promotion of another staff member and continue to be a mature member of this community. This goes for all staff. Ignore players who talk about it in chat. It is legal for them to discuss these things as it does not affect them.
